Custom Dynon glass panel and cabin: Zenith CH 750

Years ago when I purchased my first Dynon Screen, the cost was reasonable compared to certified Avionics. Today there are so many less expensive routes to go. But I like the autopilot integration.

This looks great! I think people over-rate under-weight in planes like ours. Got a Sonex? Every ounce counts. Got a 750? Hell, make it the antithesis of a 152. Wonderful job. Enjoy it.

I wish I knew how much extra weight iv'e added as I did not weight the parts before installing them. With out a doubt it weighs more than stock. I'm going to guess less than 20 pounds above stock. While that may seem like a lot to some, for me - the comfort of flying the configuration that i'm use to is priceless. The engine is a lycoming "O-320 B2B" that starts out with 160 HP, and estimated  @180 HP with the EFII electronic ignition and fuel injection system (estimated by EFII not me). The wings are Super Duty wings. The cockpit is 8 inches wider at the hips than the normal CH750 (58 inches across with bubble doors) and the cabin is several inches taller, The plane is very comfortable to sit in and all the controls are well within reach and easy to operate. I think its going to be a great flyer one of these days.

How much does all this weigh?

This looks amazing. I'd like to see more pics of the airplane.
