I did it during the upgrade. Then tensile strength of 1/2 inch tubing is the same as 1 !/8. By duplicating the cable system, I added redundancy and by being push pull no extra force was added to the bell cranks or ribs and solved the problem of the tubes flexing.

Chet; did you chnage to the push-pull tubes as part of the wing upgrade, or did you originally build the wings with this arrangement? Looks very solid and precise. Nice job!
