This modification took all of ten minutes. I like it better than the added plate with two holes sticking out front.

I think that's what he was addressing when he said the jaws don't go wide enough. They won't fit around the doubler. I think.

Mike I was going ot ask this earlier but it got away from me.... Rather than drill ower, could you drill into the doubler or are the pins too short?

If I had it to do again, I would move the holes 1/2 inch down. When you get the aero tow bar, you will see why. I had to file the corners down on the doubler, but you can't go too far, or the angled screw hit the tire. you can't go up becouse the jaws don't go wide enough.
