That's it ! No hassle, the AeroInjector sits where it should. Still have to hook up the mixture/throttle cables but that's 2 hours of work. Fuel supply line has to be routed to it too.

Hey Norm

You are right there...What you should have is a low Fuel Pressure Gauge P/N 10-01082 for carbs(1 to 16psi) such as the ISS from ACS. You also need the sender!

http://www.aircraftspruce.ca/catalog/inpages/issgauges.php

The ISS engine gauges are what Van's also sells on their web site... and are branded with the Van's name!

The ISS have much better aircraft fuel gauges and senders... made by Stewart Warner for aircraft applications!

Take care... Ron

Hi Ron,

Instruction sheets didn't say anything about adjustment ??? There is a screw at the top, I figured that by playing with it, (screw/unscrew)  I would get the right pressure... Trial and error style ??? I'm still looking to see at what pressure these are set coming out of the factory. Maybe, it's OK as is.  I'll let you know.

Good stuff... I got one of those Hooly 1-4.5psi regulators, you should be ok once you get it adjusted!   A lot of guys buy the Carb and have problems due to sizing and don't even take into acount the fuel pressure!

I will be watching... BTW I have finished my Amphib float design drawings, now I have something else to build!

Hi Ron,

This is the 35mm unit (only 2 sizes available 32mm and 35mm). I'm using a fuel pump that pressurizes fuel from 2 to 4.5 psi so I bought a Holley low pressure regulator (cheap 40$) and you can adjust the pressure as you please. It is advertized as being tested successfully on EA-81 and don't care for RPM. So, No problem.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey norm...

What size unit is this... will it be happy with the high Soob RPM's?

How are you going to control the fuel pessure if you are using pumps?   This unit does not like fuel pressures over 1psi... it likes the gravity pressures only.  I hope it works ok for you!

Hi Bob,

Doesn't it ??? Love the color too...But mainly, I love the simplicity of the design.

I hope it works as good as it looks ! I'll let you know.
