DAR inspected my airplane. Everthing he could find I was able to correct on the spot.

Had to prove to his satisfaction that I indeed built the airplane, and that I indeed installed the Upgrade. Lot of attention on the Upgrade stuff. Had lots of reciepts, a photo album, the plans, paperwork, etc, all laid out nice on a table. Also a laptop with thousands of construction photos. Ran the engine for him, and operated all the controls.

Inspection took about an hour and a half. Opened all the hatches. He poked around under the panel and inside the belly hatch with a flashlight, and looked over the FWF. Asked me about how I built the engine, and I talked about things like nitriding and 5th bearings.

He said I did a good job on it.
