Buh bye Turtle...
...Sky Turtle's last embrace before departing with her newest owner to Connecticut. Took 4 1/2 years to build and we logged 381.5 hrs together over a nearly 5 year span with wheels, floats and skis. During that time we also enjoyed a January field disassembly and loading of the aircraft and an engine overhaul. All in all a truly advenurous and rewarding experience was had. I will miss her, but the Bearhawk Patrol is inbound...;)

Thanks for comments! It was a day of mixed emotion as I fully realized it was going to no longer be mine to care for and fly. I think the new owner is a good fit for it and will treat the airplane well. I also have a standing invitation to fly it whenever I'm around in the area it is hangared. :)

The two happiest days in an aircraft owners life. The day he buys the aircraft and the day he sells it! Hopefully not to quit flying due to ill health, but to simply enjoy a different kind of flying. Fly safe.
