The "yellow schmootz" is a mixture of Zinc Chromate & Xylene brushed on between every mating metal surface as corrosion protection. Double dose for any steel / aluminium mating surface to combat galvanic corrosion. A 1 quart can will do about three CH750 aircraft. Contact Mark Townsend or read his Can-Zac Blog for mixture ratios. Enviromentally nasty stuff to work with, but it has been used for 60+ years. Never spray it... brush on as thin as possible for best results and fast drying times so you can build your project faster!
