Thanks for the nice comments Larry and Rebecca. I have only really made the first pass on polishing and need to still polish the stab, cowling, and left wing. I'll think I'll wait until it cools down a bit to finish the polishing

Dave - looks like a great job!  The shiny aluminum look is pretty cool, I think.  I'm thinking of using the corvair conversion as well.  What did your plane's weight come in at?

Great looking 650 there Dave!  Glad you are starting to really enjoy all of those long hours and hard work you put in to get your plane to this point!

Thanks Jim! What I learned from painting just these few parts makes me glad I didn't attempt to paint the whole plane.
