Thanx Pat. The electronic controller keeps the current draw down to a minimum, which helped keep wire size and weight down. The only reason I went with a heated pitot is that some day I may want to get an IFR rating for the plane and thought it was a lot easier to instal controller and wiring now rather than later.
The standard AOA and pitot from Dynon is half the price and looks very nice.
