Got the plane to 18 degrees take off attitude and started the fuel pump. Tried both fuel pumps one after the other - same result. These things pump 90 liters/hour which is more than this engine will ever need.

Hi Ron,

These are facet electric fuel pumps sold by Aircraft Spruce (item 40105). Very good and only use 1 amp when in use. Kind of heavy at 18 oz. These pumps will let the fuel thru in the event that they would fail. A good thing !

I have two (2), I think one is enough since the gravity does most of the work. These should only be used as primer pumps in my CH701.

Regards,

Norm

Sounds good Norm!  What kind of pumps are they?
