You're right about the full size.....
But then again you're also right about the engine compartment.
It will do the job very well.
A lot of people just don't put anything on the firewall but I would pick yours anytime.
You get protection and you didn't have to paint it yourself. If you take in consideration the material and time, I guess 350$ is pretty good. I still think it looks awesome.
If you look at the picture in "full size" you will see they did not do a great job - but good enough for the engine compartment. It's a matter of finding a shop that can do a good job.
I wanted something that would provide corrosion protection and show any cracks - and easy to clean always helps. If the appearance is not perfect, I'm not going to lose sleep over it...
I had it done in three batches, so it ended up costing more than if I had a single batch.
I think I paid CA$350, would probably have paid CA$200.
Do you mind if I ask how much it cost?

Yes, powder coated. I found a business near my house that does rims, and they had no issues doing these parts.
