Hi Chris - No, that's the ELT on the belly. Someone said a NTSB investigator said that more than half the time the plane is belly-up in a crash, so it was very convenient to locate the antenna there near the ELT. It's a stainless whip, so pretty rugged. If you look at the "Full Size" picture carefully, you can just see a bit of the white antenna behind where the wing meets the fuselage. And you're right, my face is sore from grinning! LOL!

It was a big kick to make the first flight off my 2100' strip at our farm! I can assure you that 2100' is waaay more than adequate! LOL! That's my house in the background. You can see the east rim of the Sequatchie Valley in the distance - we're right in the head of the Valley - quite a scenic area - THAT's why I wanted the 750 - low and slow and great visibility to take in the scenery!

First flight today for N750A! I elected to fly with slats off as they were still at paint shop - will paint cowl once I'm sure no modifications are necessary. Absolutely no squawks - extremely stable. Boy, this FUN!
