Yes, there is an extension block in the nose strut. I need the extra ground clearance for the larger prop and engine. The plane is performing exactly like I hoped. I am getting 140 MPH at 2500 RPM, 120 MPH at 2250 RPM and 6.4 gal/hr. Clime out is 1000 ft/min at 90 MPH. Empty wt. is 880 lbs.
The plane looks great. let us know how that big engine performs.
Is that a nose wheel extenstion block i see?
Congratulations! Nice looking plane.
