I was lucky. Our DAR is also our EAA chapter technical advisor. He had seen this aircraft during three different stages of construction. My best advice is a very detailed construction log (what exactly did you do and how long did it take) and a fair amount of pictures showing you working on the plane. My DAR was impressed with the log. If you'll send me your email address I'll be happy to send you my XL spreadsheet work log as an example. The FAA loved this kit and thought the aircraft was very well built. Zenith should be proud of this kit. It really looks good. This one will be leaving the ground tomorrow morning shortly after 7 a.m. I'll be sure to post a report tomorrow evening.

Congratulations! I think your paint job looks Great! Any feedback you can give us on the process with your DAR to get everything signed off would be greatly appreciated. You are a quite an inspiration to me.
