Viking 110 cowl is complete, but fit problems made it a lot of work. Right side air inlet provides blast cooling air for (2) Earth X batteries.

Hi Norm, I contacted Jan and removed a lot of the radiator shroud to raise the lower cowl and make it fit better. I plan to add rubber cowl baffle to reduce air leakage around the shroud. I found varying thicknesses from top to bottom, due to the spray up manufacturing method. These differences made the piano hinge method difficult. I am close to painting the fuselage and all other parts are painted. Best Regards, Larry

Larry, your cowl is the same as mine - 750 with Viking 110.  Mine is attached with Cam Locks. Took a bit of fitting and trimming of the radiator shroud to make it fit.
