Ken, As a suggestion, while you still have easy access to the firewall check out the modification to strengthen the supports in the center of the forewall where the front strut will mount. There is a recomendation to add some supports here to help hold the landing loads on the front strut., It will also be the best time to make and install the covers for the steering control arms as they will be hard to get to later. Hope this helps.
