N701RW with the new Rotax 912 uls engine package from Zenith. Picture taken after the first test flight. The original vw was removed because of performance and reliability. The engine block cracked on the way to Oshkosh which allowed the oil to be pumped into the engine compartment which nearly resulted in a fire and forced landing. I found one quart of oil left in the crankcase when I taxied in at Morris, Illinois.

Wayne,
Glad to hear that you got the 912 in and every thing is working well.
I couldn't get comfterable with the VW either.
Sold the 891 and delivered it over the weekend to Ok.

Good looking bird... the Rotax 912S CH701 will out STOL the heavier CH750. Both will leave a big silly grin on your face :>)
Wayne - Glad you're OK. Best of luck with the Rotax I think you'll like it. Do keep us posted.
