Paint looks WET even when almost dry. Dries QUICKLY ! Epoxy Primer is good to cover after 1-2 hours. Paint doesn't stick after 2 hours! Talk about fast drying stuff...

HI Ron,
No, didn't use the HVLP gun since I was in the hangar and I didn't know how much of a mess I would do.
One thing for sure ; do NOT use foam rollers to paint Epoxy... Epoxy will MELT the foam ...and don't ask how I know this.... I brought the rudder back to my garage. Sanded it with 400 grit paper and now I'm ready for topcoat. One word of caution : WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR - MASK AND ALL. This stuff will make you sick if not fully protected... Want to know how I know this ???
The Endura paint is REALLY BEAUTIFULL even if my topcoat hasn't been applied yet.
I'll let you know how my HVLP session turns out.
Norm
Hey Norm...
Did you use your HVLP spray gun, any problems? How did work out... is it what you expected?
