Garmin glass panel in the Zenith CH 750

Thanks Kevin. I used the Vertical Power VPX-Sport electronic circuit breaker system. The circuit breakers are controlled from the EFIS. The ECBs are rated for a million hours and 2 billion cycles, so I feel pretty safe!
Great panel! Where did you locate any circuit breakers?
Thanks for the kind words, Tim. I designed the panel by working with the guys at Stein Air. I gave them a basic drawing and they made it into a CAD drawing, and we moved things around until I had the look I was going for. They sold me the avionics (total about $16k) and they wired up a harness ($400) and cut the panel ($150 including the CAD work).
The panel finish was accomlished by a thick layer of white powder coat on the entire panel, followed by the gray top coat ($100). Then I took it to an engraver (Gary Kibler in Delaware, OH - he specializes in aircraft panels) who set it up and engraved the lettering ($250). I couldn't be happier with the result. I know there's a lot of expense there, but I don't know if I'll ever build an airplane, and boy it's still a whole lot cheaper than buying a new one.
Randy, I've got a Rotax 912 ULS (100hp) with a 72" Sensenich 3-blade composite prop. The Garmins (G3X) give data on flight, engine, nav, electrical system, traffic, weather, aircraft directory, etc. I can't really think of any data I won't have access to via the Garmin G3X.
I really like the looks of this panel, Aaron. Very clean and the panel paint finish is exceptional. Can I ask what you used for labeling, finish, etc? Also, if it's not too personal, what do you figure you'll have invested in this complete setup?
What engine are you spinning up front? Also, do the Garmins give you both engine and nav/chart data? Which Garmins are those?
