I heard some folks had already driven their cars on lake ice. It's about 10-25cm ice on lakes now, seashore somewhat less although on October 20th I was forced to take the plane to hangar as the small sea bay where we had the plane started to freeze well before the lakes for some reason.

We don't quite have enough snow yet for skis... its -15C (making ice on the lakes).
