VW Type 4 - Distributor Drive Pinion... this part is a very scarce item! They cannot be acquired new anymore, so if you can find one brabit. The Type IV Store sells them used for $75. I was very luck... purchased the one on the left from Great Plains Aircraft fro $25... used condition. The one on the right I purchased on EBay for $5... a steal! The Type 4 engine uses only one washer while the Type 1 engine used up to 3 washers! The washers and springs can stilll be acquired new... so if you are patient you can find the dist. drive pinion on EBay for a good price...
