This is a VW Type 1 Pulley modified to work with the Type 4 crankshaft hub. On the Type 4 engine the hub was used with the huge fan needed for cooling purposes... the fan is not needed on an aircraft engine! This a CNC solid billet special made pulley... needed for the alternator installation! It is indexed to the hub and also has the same timing marks as the Type 4 engine cooling fan!
