Decided to add a light weight (2024 T3 0.016") tail skid to provide extra rudder protection. I operate mainly on grass airfields so was not happy with just the standard tie down ring.

Hi Chris. I used 0.016" 2024 t3 to keep the weight low. The idea was to provide more protection to the rudder if I had a tail strike on our grass airfield.
