Hello,
My name is Mr. Michael Mccarthy, I have contacted you before without any response from you. Please replied if you receive this message. I have something very important to discuss with you, I have a vital information to give you. Could you please get back to me on (mmichaelmccarthy4@gmail.com ) for full details.
Michael Mccarthy.
Brett, I am building a 701, and plan to use the ea-81. I have considered using the aerocarb, ( now injection), but I understand it has some pecular characteristics. Fuel flow must be shut off, and the engine run till it stops, or it will flood the engine. Anyone know of this application on the ea-81?
How is the corvair conversion going?
Tom
Wow that is good to know. I have a friend that pushes the Sub but I think the Corvair sound so much simpler and easier. I actually don't have the money to own but have sacrificed for 20 yrs and owned a C140 and a C 170b until now . I thought I was ready at 50 to give up flying so 1 yr ago gave up my 170 . 1 yr later my wife says a man with out an airplane is like a woman with out the prospect of chocolate you just don't want to be around them!
Any way We are very interested in talking to you wile you do your 750 with a corvair as with your guidance we can avoid alot of mistakes and wasted money.
Thanks for the tips! We wish you were next door.

I thought I read you had already went to the Sub . I also thought of the Corvair . What do you mean the Ponsi schemes around it?
And how heavy is the Subaru I think I like the performance/ hp in it . I think it can go up to 125 to 150 hp easier than souping the corvair but I might be wrong. I am also some what of a mechanic so I could do the work on both. Please let me know what you think.
Tom L.
I am building a 750 and cant decide from the Subaru or the corvair.
You are one of the few that has it flying in a 701 or 750.
The wife and I are at, well lets say we are not svelt. not sure if it will work. what weight did you figure your Subaru at?
You have a belt drive I thought it would put out 100 hp with direct drive? Are you getting 125 hp? Or why did you go with belt drive?
Obviously I don't know much about it do you have any good links that explain it?
Thanks for any help you can give.
