Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has any float mounting specs for a Zodiac CH601 HD, I'm looking at installing floats on mine but cannot find the specs for it anywhere. Thank you.

A search of your aircrafts registration with Transport Canada indicates it is registered as an AULA with a "Jabiru engine". The Rotax 912 is an AULA approved engine installed in the CH601HD. Try contacting Mark Townsend at Can-Zac for technical support on your float install.
Confused??? You want to mount a CH601HD on floats, but your profile indicates you have a CH701...which is it? Have you tried contacting Zenith Midland, Ontario. They manufacture the Zenith brand floats and probably have the info you want. How is your aircraft registered...Homebuilt or AULA or BULA? If AULA you can only use factory approved floats. Basic UL or Homebuilt its pretty much an open field for type of floats. Personally I think a low wing CH601 on floats is sexy stuff. The low centre of gravity really helps handling on floats...but the low wing is a nightmare to dock....mostly its a beach operation. Amphibs or straight?

What is that angle between your wings and the top of the floats?
