Viking 180hp Cowling Nose Cone
I am putting together a Zenith 801 with the Viking 180hp turbo engine. I have built a custom nose cone for my engine and could make more of them if people are interested.Originally I was going to install the Lycoming cowl, but it would have needed a lot of modification, so I designed and built my own nose cone, then attached it to the firewall with cowling supports in all four corners. - I am an A&P mechanic and private pilot. I owned a Piper Tomahawk until May 2020. In 2016 I bought a completed 801 without the engine. It had a Subaru engine but that was sold separately. I am installing the Viking 180 HP engine on it. While I complete my 801, I purchased a 701 with a ULPower 260i to fly and get familiar with how the Zenith handles.
