Sold the plane to guy from Vernon who is rebuilding it. Having a blast with the new plane an Allegra 2000 much nicer than the 701.

Flipped the 701 on a beach Feb 2014 not planning to repair it. Going to part it out. Just bought a Alegro 2000 much nicer plane than the 701.

I finally finished up my flight training in 100 mile house got my permit and flew my plane home. A bit of a tailwind and a little turbulence in the mountains but the 6.5 hour flight was fun and I make it home safely! this is a picture of me doing a barrel roll........thats why I am upside down LOL…

Getting some stuff ordered for it. I want to upgrade to Tundra tires on the main gear as I will be doing mostly off airport flying and ordered a cabin heater........its cold up here in the North. The plane came from Florida so I guess they didn't feel the need for cabin heat!

Hi Frank, hope your enjoying your new plane, they r a great plane to fly.
Ihave my plane sitting at my uncles airstrip in Deadwood AB have only ventured around the farms out there and along the mighty peace river where i have property and an airsrtip as well.
This is my powered parachute. I am putting it up for sale it has a 912 uls with less than 50 hours on it. I imported it from the US last year. I might sell the parts separately. George Woods from Rotax told me the motor is worth $ 13,000.
Hi Ron, Thank you for the message. My 701 only has 212 hours on it. The plane is at 108 mile. I was taking some lessons on it but the weather turned on us and I had to get back to the ranch for calving. I am planning to head back down sometime during the first part of May to finish my flight training and fly it home. Might have to ride the bus down.
I haven't heard anything about rust issues on the 701. Not sure what would rust isn't it mostly aluminum? What do I know it's all new to me........maybe I could get your number and we could have a chat.

Hi Frank, so you have some hours in your 701, mine is still landlocked on floats. I bougth all the new landing gear, tundra tires, 10 gal tanks, bubble doors, vgs etc but have not yet completed the upgrades. I have been flying a cherokee 180, took it down to oshkosh in 2012. Life keeps getting in the way but I hope to soon be back to work on it. Mine has 2000 hrs on floats and I trailered it home. Also has 912 ULS. Have you attended any of the rust remover courses in Ft St John? It is being held in Beaverlodge this year. Bye for now
