I am now appointed a DAR for Alaska .... been quite a tough road to hold. The FAA is not all that friendly a place ... but I only care that now I'm ready to go. How are you doing? I guess Tom is passed at me as I don't hear from him anymore ....
The course is a lot like law school .... in 3 days .... but very well worth the time and cost.
Glen, I finished the DAR course and am now a DAR out of the Fairbanks / Anchorage FSDO offices .... looking forward to building the CH750 ... and flying it!

Hello Glen,
Good to hear from you. I'm selling the Excalibur, the house in Washington, and the shop there and building the CH750. Heading to Oklahoma City for a DAR seminar this next week.
Are you the same Glen from Excalibur . I am the previous owner of a 2004 Excalibur named the Just Because. Welcome to the club. Iam now building my own 601XLB from plans and have all the mods done and working on panel and power plant.

I never knew him, but the passing of every pilot makes the world a sadder place. A buddy of mine quit flying March 2010 (Citabria) and cancer took him by August 2010...he was 93 yrs young. He told me "Every man has a given time on earth, but the good lord doesn't keep the hobbs running when your flying...so fly often! " :>)
