Where to dispose of scrap metal

Hello all,I am scratch building a 650b, using as much salvageable material from a wrecked 601HD that I acquired. There is a whole lot of bent, creased, or just too small to usespieces laying around taking up space. I also have a box of trimmings and small cut-offs from making parts. Where do you guys dispose/recycle these pieces? I'm sure any metal recycler would take them, but most of them are clear across town.Do you guys just drop them off, or do you try to get some $ back for the scrap…See More

gets it.  I won’t ship the stuff - live in Eastern Kansas so doubt it’s worth the trip.
