I was a project engineer for FHWA until 1st retirement,then a similar position with a private company on FHWA construction projects(roads and bridges on federal land NPS, USFS etc).

I learned to fly as a retirement project. Not so easy to learn at this age. I first learned to fly in an ERCO 415C and the transition to the CH-750 STOL (landing) has been difficult.
