John - I don't really understand this system messages either. I got your latest response on my gmail account. However, when I come over to this site I don't find it anywhere.
I have now have my cowling modified and am moving forward with my instrument panel, which is the last major item I have left to complete (lots of small stuff yet that will probably take longer than I think it will). I am making a pretty bare bones panel using the Dynon skyview system.
I note your fuel control valves are sort of what I had in mind. However, I think I will just go for the rubber fuel lines - at least at first. I still have to install those valves. I am going to put a fuel filter on each side just below the valves where I can easily see it. I am also going to put one of those valves right below the pilot seat for dumping fuel out the bottom of the plane (for easy clean out of the fuel system). I have the folding wing option and I want to remove all the fuel when I fold them.
Anyway, I posted this on your wall so you should get it - let me know if you do. I would like to get a better understanding of how the zenair communication system works.
I often ponder what that first flight will be like. How did you prepare for it?
