At what point in the build should I buy the engine package?

Reading up on the Viking fuel system and realizing there's gonna be some header tanks and pumps I'll have to install, and I'm wondering if I'm going to have to buy the engine kit and install these components well before the rest of the aircraft is completed. Same thing with controls honestly, a lot of things that I'm not sure how to install and in what order, that don't seem wise to install after skins are on.See More

Davis CA Hangar Space Dillema

Good afternoon!I'm a recent Air Force veteran moving out to Davis CA for work. Did my Cruzer rudder at the factory, getting my elevator in after the move in September, working on polishing what I have while I wait.Gonna need to get hangar space at some point for assembly, I'm sure, as I'm living in an apartment without any kind of garage or yard. Would love to final assemble and test at KEDU but their hangar waitlist is 3 years long, and I assume the rest of the Davis area is not much better.…See More
