Wanted- Propeller for my Lycoming

I am ready to purchase a propeller, but before I purchase a new one I thought I would see if anyone had one they no longer needed or weren't using.I have the SEA-2 hub on my O-235 C2C. Almost all the parts are back from Oklahoma so assembly will begin shortly.It will be going on my 601 XLB, so the diameter cannot exceed 68 inches. 68/57 for fixed pitch is what am told through my investigations would be best suited for my application. O-235 C2C Pistons

I am in the process of gathering information and the necessary parts to overhaul/reassemble my O-235 C2C engine for my 601 XLB. I've hit a bit of a quagmire with the pistons I have on hand (and the parts number changes over the years). I have 3 used pistons that are in very good shape with the part number 61147. The 4th unit I have on hand is brand new with a part number of 73851. According to the overhaul manual both parts are interchangeable, but there is a 42 gram difference in weight as the…See More

What alternator are you using?

I found a prestolite model on eBay that is missing a pulley, and it is advertised to fit  the O-235. I have an O-235 C2C, but according to the information I have found it in fact is not "sized" for my engine. I have the attachment and tension brackets, so have any of you on this forum had issues with fitment and sourcing an alternator? Any prestolite users out there? Just looking for options and input. MikeSee More
