Have CH601HD's with Rotax 100HP engines faired well in cruise and climb performance?

I cant wait though and in the meantime I'm watching metal workshop vids as well as gathering the tips and tricks people have posted here.
I believe I'll be going with a Jabiru, but still cant rule out the Viking 130. The viking is awfully heavy though. I just don't like the rotax, from what I've been hearing it is very complex and requires a lot of maintenance.
Are ypu still building your 601 HD?
If so I would love to get in touch with you. I'm strongly considering building a 601 HD myself.
Looking forward to seeing your 601HD build... The Homebuilthelp folks have a vid on putting the 650 canopy on the 601XL -- not a direct application to the HD... but seemed pretty good/general to me... Always liked the "honesty" of the HD -- although I'd probably build as light as possible; have to finish my current project first, but will be looking for your updates -- Good Luck !!
Richard,
Enjoy your build.
