601XL Jabiru 3300a to Rotax 912

I just bought a 601XLB with jabiru 3300a-water cooked heads and I am thinking about moving to Rotax 912. Other than new engine mount, and normal engine add-ons would my existing cowling work?

hello rick. I just bought a 912uls for my 701 , it will replace a jabiru 2200. as far as I know
it won't work. we'll I guess that if your good with re doing the cowl then it will. It will require a large opening for the oil cooler and a air inlet for the water cooler. You may have to shorten the cowl also. I have to buy the complete FWF from Zenith. Not one thing of the Jabiru will work for the Rotax. I have a Jab 3300 for my 650. I am looking forward for the 120 hp. vs the 100hp.
