Hi all, I'm presently building a CH 300 tri z . I picked up this complete kit that was never completed. Now I want to finish it, I would like to know if there is a ch 300 tri z in construction some where. Chances are pretty slim. anyway I would like to know.

Hello Roger
I've recently brought home a ch300 kit that my father purchased in '78. Wings are mostly finished but may have construction problems, control surfaces complete, and fuselage not started. It has sat in the barn for 13 years since his death. It is nice to know there is another tri-z being built not far away.

From what I understand placing the leading edge over the trailing edge causes air separation sooner and an earler stall.

Hi Roger

You don't need to register it now. You need to get on the MD-RA website and file a letter of intent. All the components need to be inspected before closing. If you tell MDRA who the previous owner was they may hvae a file on that aircraft. Also you should join the Yahoo group for the CH200/250/300 several members there have floats on their 300's

Is there anyone out there with the same aircraft, on float?

Ok,I started building this home built aircraft. What do I have to do now? do I have to register it . This is an older model Zenith CH 300 TRI Z that was started by someone else and unfortunatly could not finish it, it sat there for ten years before his widdow got rid of it and I bought it, it is complete with all the plans and construction manuals.
