Jabiru FWF Top Cowl trimming
Gents, I have just installed the lower and top cowls (JAB USA) temporarily, initial impression was "Crikey mate" I need a 10 " Spinner, however I believe I can trim the top cowl at the front where it runs across the intakes and around the prop shaft to lower the front of the top cowl. This would require the top cowl forward bottom edge to have about an inch trimmed off. Before I hook in has anyone else trimmed this much? I have been watching your videos and have learn a lot. I am also installing MGL avionics. I saw where you intended to place your magnetometer (SP6) and AHRS (SP7) but I can't find the video that shows where you ended up placing these devices and how well they work in those locations. (I am tempted to put the SP6 in the wing and the SP7 under a seat.)
Where did you finally install the SP6 & SP7?
