I ain't much at posting on the Internet. So not may know me....
But I have been around airplanes my whole life (I'm 67) and I've been flying 50+ years and flight instructor for 43. A&P for 35...
built MANY an airplane motor and "stroked" a bunch of them.
I am Factory Rotax Certified Maintenance, but I don't own one...
My favorite engine story? Flying a C-85 Continental back from North Carolina once I lost a cylinder on it... Really made me mad cause I had just bought it. So I had to fly all the way back on three cylinders to Florida!
Never tried that with a Rotax...... I deemed it to be safe
I don't know about NH, but we have a Maine builders group that meets now and then and you are welcome to join.
