Last year on Labor Day I did the first run of my WW Corvair conversion engine on the engine test stand. We had a big crayfish boil and the engine started and ran beautifully - purred like a cat! 

This year we had a seafood boil again and started the engine again - this time in the fuselage. If I had the seats and brakes installed I could have driven it around town. It ran beautifully! (After I readjusted the timing and and got the whole procedure down)

Looking for help with my O235.

O235 with conical mount. 

Trying to figure out what lord mount kit I need to use. I have spoke to Zenith, Zenair, and Quality Sport Planes. They all have info on the Dynafocal mount but nothing on the conical. I spoke with Lycoming they cannot help because it is not on a GA Plane. I spoke with Lord they have no way to help because they do not have a kit for the 750.

Well I made it! I flew C-FPQO from High River AB to Oshkosh. It was 7 legs, just under 1300 miles one way, over 3 days on the way down and 2 days on the way back.

Is the canopy plexiglass?

I fly with a small sharp point hammer.

Can the canopy be shattered if crash landing and tip on back happens?

Thanks so much to everyone that attended the Zenith Builders Banquet during the Oshkosh EAA convention. The event was held at the Elks Lodge in Oshkosh. Its been two weeks since we brought home the massive crate with all the parts we'd need to build up to the firewall forward portion of our plane.  As we set up the shop to build we found the crate could be a giant crafting table for construction  with the addition of a few sets of wheels and structural supports.  So, after inventorying all the parts we turned it into a very mobile work surface.
