Drilled the horizontal stabilizer brackets uo to the size. The bracket had pilot size holes. I used a strap duplicator.
Aligned the horizontal stabilizer.
The overlap between the stabilizer and the brackes is so small I did not dare to drill immediately. Will ask Zenith.
My hardware does not match the drawings I have. It looks like my horizontal stabilizer is older than the drawings. The drawings say the front spar attachment bracket…

Made an EGT probe mock-up to select the right sensor position.
A good position is easy to find for the two back exhaust pipes. For the two front pipes it is more difficult.
The Homebuilt Help video says the probes should not point to the engine parts. The probe manufacturer says the probes are not designed to be bent.
Asked the manufacturer.
The manufacturer said the probes could be bent in the part which is closer to the exhaust pipe. See the…
