2011 EAA Air Venture
Joe made a suggestion about Zenith builders flying to and attending the 2011 EAA Air Venture as a mass group, I made a suggestion and Joe asked me to do a blog about it so everyone could read it:
I am an 801 builder from Beloit, WI operating out of Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville,WI (KJVL) your suggestion sounds good to me and I might suggest that if we wanted to have a mass type fly in the airport in Janesville has plenty of room for us to organize, low fuel prices, and a good restaurant as well as motel accommodations in the area for those who need to come some distance and may need a break prior to entering the rapid pace of Oshkosh. Just something to think about and add into the pie.

Please count me in. I''ll be at Oshkosh every fall for the rest of my life. I'll very likely fly my CH-750 for 2011. It is possible that I fly the old 172, ride with my dad again, or even drive.
I do arrive 8 to 10 days early and volunteer. I could always leave Oshkosh and come back to a meeting point.

The Stinson group used Watertown, WI for our gathering point and it was a great success. However, with you in the local area as a contact person, Janesville sounds perfect. We Stinson folks did it all remotely, and having a local "representative" would have been very handy a few times. My two cents.
