Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Flew my 601XL to Florida and back last week. What a great trip! The 601 and Corvair performed flawlessly. You can checkout the adventure on my blog: 2002 Mile Florida Adventure

Hi Bob, glad you enjoyed it. Are you going to OSH this year?
I enjoy living vicariously through your posts, Ken. You do such a nice job of sharing the fun and the planning and the decision making. You have a nice airframe-engine combination there, I hope mine comes out as well as yours (assuming I ever get it done, I am on the extra slow build program, it would seem). My excuse for that is nine grandkids and two flying planes. It makes it hard to set aside building time but life is good.
Great write up. This story is what building your own plane is all about. The 601 is a heck of a lot faster than my 750. It took me 2 days to fly from Houston to the Zenith Factory, & you make CT to FL in 1 day! Nice job.
Everything is good on my end. Italy sounds fantastic. I'm driving out to Oshkosh with my son this year.
Hi Vance, how have you been? Any plans for OSH this year?
Way to Go Ken, Sounds like a great trip.
