CH 750 Control Mixer Bearing 2nd Edition Rev. 1 QUESTION

the control mixer bearing comes pre drilled and the attachment holes are offset from the Mixer tube hole. One set of holes is far enough away from the tab on the control mixer that the tab will not "stop" on the bolt heads. Installed on the other side of the fuselage the bolt heads will stop or limit the control mixer travel. The updated photo assembly guide clearly shows the tab between stops. The plans show the tab not between the bolts that would limit travel. Anyone asked the factory which is the preferred installation? With travel limits or without........

Allen,  The tab should not contact the bolt heads.  I'm building edition 1 rev 1 but I assume this is the same for all editions to date.  See the this link for Caleb's reply when I had the same problem.

Allen:  Thanks for your post.  Please note that blog posts are best used as a "journal," especially when photos are included as part of the blog post.

If you want to ask a question (and solicit responses) or engage in a discussion, please use the Discussion Forums for this instead of the blog posts.
Furthermore, for technical model-specific questions (discussions), we recommend that you start a new discussion under the model group, such as STOL CH 750. This keeps discussions (questions and answers) relevant to all members, and will make it easier to archive and access your post in the future.
Thanks again for your contributions and enjoy your aircraft building!
