After 18 years, Donna Zimmerman will be retiring from Zenith Aircraft Company at the end of this year.
Donna was responsible for shipping and receiving, making sure the many parts that make up the kits were carefully packaged and crated. Here, Donna works on one of her last shipments, helping Glen (of Hulett, Wyoming) pack his STOL CH 750 wings, slats and flaperon kit on his trailer this morning (pictured above and below). Donna has helped pack thousands of kit parts and pieces on customers' trailers or in the back of their vehicles, and looked forward to helping them get their Zenith kit parts safely home.
Over her years at Zenith Aircraft she was responsible for packing literally hundreds of Zenith Aircraft kits, shipped to customers across the country and around the world.
Above left, Donna rests against a carefully crated kit containing all the parts to build a Zenith aircraft.
With excellent attention to detail, Donna was also tasked with quality control of the many parts manufactured in the Zenith Aircraft factory in Mexico, Missouri.

We thank Donna for her 18 years service at Zenith Aircraft Company.
Please join us in wishing Donna all the best in her well-deserved retirement! Wishing her success in this next phase in her life.

Donna, I hope you enjoy your free time! Congrats!
May your retirement be some of the happiest days of your life, and thanks for a job well done on my fuselage kit not one little part was missing. WOW
Thanks Donna for putting up with all my 'just dropping by' orders. I retired last April and am loving it; I'm sure you will too! Started working on my 701 again and will 'drop by' again very soon.
Donna: Enjoy your retirement. I hope you got to pack and ship my first order as your last order. It's great;
now have time to work on my build project. Best Regards: Jack
I am sure we will all miss you. You have been a tremendous help in many things, not just shipping. I wish you the very best in your retirement!

You were great helping me load my Cruzer in to a U-Haul truck back in 2014. Best wishes in your retirement.
Thank you for all the amazingness!
I wish ti thank Donna for a great job of packaging my CH-801 so many years ago, it always amazes me when I see folks retiring from a job after 25 years or more. To have been at a job for so long means a job well done for the company,employee and customer a definite win win for everyone.
Congratulations Donna and may you enjoy your well earned retirement.
Sincerely,
Phil Owens Jr.
