Engine

HI everyone , has anyone got any info on an alternate engine for the 701, the engine is a Suzuki 1ltr , 3 cylinder, turbo charge 90hp, fuel injected, I am looking to put my 701 on floats and was wondering if this engine would do the job  THANKS

You might want to check out Viking. They just added a reduction gear set choice that is designed for extra torque for float and seaplanes. It's 110 HP out of 1.5 L, no boost.

HI Randy, I don't have the engine bought yet, just looking at it and wondering if it would be suitable for a 701 on floats  , do you know what the performance  is like   THANKS

I was thinking of using that engine and got as far as buying new old stock pistons from gm dealer . they are for a rebuild with bored out cylinders . I would sell them half price with rings and pins
