My friend Mike Mossman and I have been flying our Zodie Rockets for about 6 years now.  His plane is equipped with the Rotax 912S, mine with the Jabiru 3300.  Both are fitted with HDS wings.  The Zodies are a hoot to fly.

We have flown together to many flyin's over the years and it is one of life's great experiences.  The 601's are light and responsive which makes for good formation flying.  Our two most memorable flights were to Oshkosh together.  It is such a thrill to fly in there with so many other pilots who share the same interests.

In Indiana, we have many local flyin's during the summer.  It is great adventure to fly into other airports for breakfast on a Saturday morning.  We will fly to the destination airport as a party of two all the way into the downwind leg.  One of us will then break off for the Base leg and the other 10 seconds later.  Makes for nice spacing on final.

Another area that really keeps us excited about flying are the Young Eagle rides.  To date our chapter 1311 has flown hundreds of kids.  When we organize such an event, we always ask for the most enthusiastic kids of the bunch to fly with us or the RV's in the group.  The added performance really gets them charged up, especially when we let them take the controls!  Sometimes years later, after they've grown up, they will approach you again and ask you if you remember taking them up.  It's like when your wife asks you what words you said to her on your first date.  Ahh, let me see, ya, I remember it all so clearly now!

Included are a few pictures to wet the taste buds of those still building.  My advice: keep devoting a consistent amount of time every week and you will be flying before you know it!

Now for the photos.  A special thanks to Mike Mossman for taking all of these great Pictures.  He's not only a talented pilot / builder, but a talented photographer.
