Young Eagles flights in Zodie Rocket N601LE
Hi Everyone,
EAA chapter #1311 had a great opportunity to fly Young Eagles a few weekends ago. We hosted a group of Boy Scouts. It felt like the first day of spring after a long winter! Over 25 boys participated. I ended up providing flights for three of them. The last flight was with a 15 year old who is a friend of the family. He flew my plane for over 1/2 the flight, and I told his parents that he did such a good job, he was now ready to start flight training!
Enjoy the photos, and for those of you who have not yet finished your project, keep after it. Soon you will be flying and giving rides to kids from your neighborhood!

I remember when an old pilot gave a little kid a ride in his airplane about 40 years ago...
I was that kid, and it meant a lot to me and was something that I'll never forget. When I finish my Zodiac I'd like to give other kids the same experience.

Great photos, Chuck. Sorry I wasn't able to participate this time. Anxious to get my CH 650 completed so I can get back to Young Eagles. Hopefully, later this year.
