Get Well Soon to CH750 Builder Clay Hollenback...

Clay Hollenback (http://www.zenith.aero/profile/ClayEHollenback) underwent surgery this week, and is not able to work on his CH750 for a up to eight weeks. I am sure that he could do with some get well messages - since he is probably feeling sorry himself, sitting there holding a handful of rivets, gazing out of the window, begging his family to purchase a flying magazine from the local store....

Clay is a great supporter of the use of Zenith aircraft in West Africa and is webmaster of the MoM site (http://www.medicineonthemove.org/ ) - his incapacitation is only temporary, but a few get well messages in the comments below should make him feel better.

His surgery was on his wing (I mean shoulder), so we could say he has undergone an upgrade on his wing root!.

GET WELL SOON CLAY....AND POST SOME BLOG POSTS ON THE ZENITH SITE WHILST YOU ARE RESTING!!!

Clay, I hope you're recouperating well, and that you manage to enjoy some of your "down" time.

My wife just got her knee "upgraded" to a titanium model. A month and a half post surgery, she is up and about and doing well, but not 100 percent yet. You will be starting to make progress soon, Clay. It will not feel like it, initially, but there will be progress. My Bride still feels like she is impaired and inadequate, but everyone who watches her walk and looks at her healing scar (including the Doc and the Therapist) are impressed and say she it doing great.

We hope you will end up similarly, being your own worst critic but moving way out in front of the pack on your recovery. Best wishes and good luck!

How I wish this was an upgrade. It's a repar of a seriously damaged right wing root. I'll be immobilized for 8 weeks, in rehab for another 8-12 weeks an not back to normal for 8-12 mmmm...mmmmm....mmmmmonths..... :(

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, Much appreciated.

Does this upgrade put you in the "Experimental" category? Wishing you a full recovery.

Get well, Clay! Will the soulder upgrade take you out of the LSA category and make you aerobatic?

Clay, Get well and be well. At least your shoulder work does not require extensive paperwork before being put back in service :-)
