Honda® Fit conversion update - HondaFitAircraftEngine-Owners

Here is the most recent update on the Honda Fit conversion at - https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/HondaFitAircraftEngine-Owners/c...

"Honda Fit Aircraft Engine Owners and newbee's to this small slice of the pie in general aviation -

Just wanted to update folks who weren't able to attend one of our two Educational Forums on 'Converting the Honda® Jazz/Fit Auto Engine for Aircraft' this year at AirVenture this past week as to the direction of Raven ReDrives Inc. Honda® engine development. First, it was really great to be back at Oshkosh after having to skip the show last year in order to focus on acquiring a Zenith 601 XLB airframe for use as a test bed for our new Honda® engine package. Seeing the folks in our industry and having a chance to talk with other vendors about the latest aircraft designs and new technologies coming to market is something I personally enjoy and helps to fine tune our new product development to make sure it is cutting edge in the marketplace. The new Workshop Classroom seminar buildings were definitely an improvement for talks this year and there seemed to be very good attendance at the seminars I was able to sit in on.

Patrick Panzera with Contact Magazine gave a couple forums tailored to an overview of all Auto Engine conversions and went through all of the individuals and companies with an update on their products from A to Z. He has really done his homework!

I was fortunate to not have other seminars booked after my scheduled Honda® conversion talks on either day so we were able to run overtime. The questions at both of my seminars on the Honda® were well informed and revelant. I also received good feedback about what folks are looking for in an auto engine conversion that would work for their project.

Saw that Viking had a booth in the main area of the show and what appeared to be a customers installation on an airframe in the Ultralight area. I did not see Vassilli with AirTrikes (another Honda® conversion vendor) in attendance. I was only there for the 3 days of my Seminars so I did not get to see everyone or all new engine products in attendance. I will continue with an update on what we covered in our Seminars on the Honda® Jazz/Fit later today.
