Come to think of it that is what I did on the rudder rear ribs because the long side flanges run all the way to the end flange. When you get to the elevator rear ribs you will be able to bend the sides then the end because the sides end short of the end flange.
I thought about that, but then what do you use for the end tab? Just a hand seamer? I thought I'd bend the 2 long edges on a brake, then slap it on the block to bend the end over.
I appreciate the insight- this is my first build. I see your photos you've posted- that excites me seeing the blanks and what they become- some day I'll get home and get some aluminum...

You may want to save the trouble of making form blocks for the rear ribs that have straight flanges. I found it much easier to fabricate these using the bending brake. Flanges come out nicer and straighter.
